Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE)
A chapter of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is functioning in DRIEMS since 2007. This is a devoted body for the development of quality of technical education throughout the country, with its head office in New Delhi . It organizes technical Seminars and Workshops at regular intervals with main focus on development of communication skill, continuing education programmes and curriculum development. The ISTE Chapter of DRIEMS received best chapter ISTE Awards from Odisha Section in 2001 and 2003, respectively.A Student's Chapter of ISTE is also separately running in DRIEMS which organizes regularly Group Discussions, preparations for facing the interviews and quizzes in technical and general field etc. at regular intervals.
